My Huawei E220 modem been giving me some strange disconnection and device not found symptom. I've been trying for the past 3 hours just to get my self connected to gmail, unfortunately the modem keep on disconnected intermittently. This is getting up to my nerves. Until I found a better solution - instead of using the connectivity software provided by Huawei, I setup a dial up connection manually via connection manager in Windows 7. Whoalla, it get connected and stay connected - easily! If the problem still persist, I'll make sure the modem goes into the recycle bin. *pissed*
That's the end modem story. What's next? Time management...
